The State of Impact: Financial Health Briefing
Have you ever wondered how we can spend over $6 trillion on financial relief for Americans – and still not move the needle for those below the poverty line?
Have you ever wondered how we can spend over $6 trillion on financial relief for Americans – that’s $17,142 for every person – and still not move the needle for those below the poverty line? According to our latest Impact Genome/AP-NORC poll, 15% of all Americans are worse off financially than they were before the pandemic, and that number goes up to 29% for those below the poverty line. So why aren’t most financial stability interventions working? If spending more isn’t the answer, what can we do to impact those in need? If you are interested in financial health and these numbers don’t add up for you, join us for the Impact Genome Project’s first State of Impact webinar on the topic of Financial Health in America, taking place on Wednesday, May 19 at 2:00 p.m. CST. I’ll be joining Dr. Heather King, the Impact Genome Project’s VP of Evidence & Implementation to share never-before-seen data and insights about the State of Impact in Financial Health, including:
- The number of charities in America that focus on financial health
- The amount of nonprofit spending on financial health
- The average “Cost per Outcome” for achieving financial health for an individual
- The actual cost to solve financial health for all Americans
- Which programs are most effective, and why?
